Non-religious Wedding Ceremony

Sguardi su Link Mono/4 - Di palinsesti più ricchi e programmi divenuti evento

And here we are at the last stage of our pre-Christmas survey by Link Mono. Last but not least , today, it's the second section, entitled The tube abundance, making a note to the history of American television (the one, monumental, Eric Barnouw). But if that book is still in the early nineties, Link goes much further. And he realizes that the bulk of television news of the year Zero is not contained in the individual, as in the multiple meanings that each takes in the new context of production and consumption.

a context that is now abundant, exaggerated, even chaotic, and sometimes indigestible. The solution is to acquire (or equip viewers) useful tools to navigate this complexity. Noticing that the TV can become event, able to stop for a moment the flow of the various schedules and catch the attention of audience, and entire communities. That gender should not be an excuse, if anything, the incentive to invest more in creativity. What can you love television in many different ways, some of them still viewed with contempt, and the little finger raised. That production from the bottom up and buy user-generated content more value in beautiful packaging. And much more.

The piece that we offer you today is that of John Ellis - can be found here. The average student of English, a professor at Royal Holloway in London, written specifically for us, an ideal result of his book Seeing Things , which divides the history of television in three eras: the scarcity, the availability, abundance. It focuses on the last stage. Seeing how things have changed yes, but to a lesser extent than expected. And underlining the continuing role of the generalist broadcasters, the only one able to create events, even in times of cross-platform and global markets.

Happy reading!

Racing Games Suggestion

Sguardi su Link Mono/3 - Di esplosioni nuove di cose vecchie

While Link Mono arrives on TV - tonight at 21.45, the weekly episode of The big talk (on Tv2000, channel 28, digital terrestrial and satellite ) will be entirely dedicated to start from scratch, our guest conductor Fabio Guarnaccia - we continue to tell his sections.

And we get to the fourth part, the first metastases. Since it is often said that there is never anything on TV again, that the programs remain the same year after year and that innovation has disappeared almost completely, we tried to see if it is true. Noticing that, yes, most kinds of schedules and draws on "classic" texts. But also that many things have changed, piccoli spostamenti e parziali ibridazioni che, accumulandosi, hanno generato valanghe.

Sguardi su Link Mono/2 - Di robetta indipendente diventata centrale

Dedicato a cosa è successo in questi anni Zero, anche e soprattutto per cercare di understand where we're going to parry the next time ...

The first pages of the book, in that section by the name of India, New mainstream, trying to map the resurgence of many phenomena already identified in previous years, but never in a central position within the culture, media and society. As if the previous decades had been nothing more than the dress rehearsal, backstage and in the back, and only now a variety of factors could tackle the big stage generalist. The underground culture, the camp, ethnic minorities, the diversity of various kinds, video art, humor occupy many more spaces become viral, are needed globally. Perhaps this is the paradigm shift ...

The piece that we offer today, and you can read or download here , is that of Francis Pacific. The writer tries to describe the emergence of resignation and confusion in the mass of all the same, in a world where irony reigns and shows, the gap becomes selflessness, capsized in the mainstream ' awkward, embarrassing the end in itself. There is still room for a different interpretation of reality?

Magnum Condoms Vs Regular

Sguardi su Link Mono/1 - Di piedistalli e cadute rovinose

Already we told you about the new Link Mono . And already we have given you a preview of its colors, its wealth of titles and images. Now is the time to try to see what's inside. And so, for a few days, we tell you the different sections that comprise the volume. With some present.

Party - random! - the third, which is titled The Damned . It tells what happened in the year Zero, and what will happen in the future, that vast sea of \u200b\u200bfrantic innovation and continuous revolutions announced that the business, industry, marketing, technologies and applications. To underscore how important it is not to be blinded by the glitter of novelty, but keep in mind the scenario as a whole and understand how fundamental it is to put the pieces of the puzzle system. Even just do not get lost. Emilio Pucci
explains the effects of digitization on markets and consumption, in view of an "offshore" in the coming years will add to the "walled gardens" (and easier). Antonio Dini wonders what sense to think science fiction in a period in which innovations are always around the corner - and adds to the tail section in a ranking of the technologies of the decade, notes, or (guiltily) unknown. Massimo Temporelli reasoning on innovation and Zero as the years have mostly put to use prior inventions and patents, along a classical dynamics. Carlo Momigliano deals with the advertising market, seeking answers to the weakness of the peculiar characteristics of Italian investors. David and Matthew Turi Bittanti pull the strings of a long speech ten years, as regards the relationship between TV and the web (the first) and the world of video games (the second). Just to mention something ...

But not enough. And so, since we are good, we offer two full articles. The first
, Michele Boroni , titled provocatively Kotler is dead (the old guru says the same Boroni on his blog, is alive and well). What remains of the old times in marketing segmentation target, socializing online, viral, prosumers, and so on? Perhaps nothing. And so, in the footsteps of the Cluetrain Manifesto , better stop and think a bit 'on the way to go. The second
, Mauritius Ferraris, it's called Let's pretend and depicts the struggle between two strange ontological entity, TV and PC. Showing as the first almost no longer exists, and as is behind our flat screen and our decoder conceal the seeds of the second. And germs: mobility, flexibility, individuality, deferred, store, writable.

What else? Happy reading!

Neither Apple (they do all these years).
But yet another type of apple, one of Pomo.

Picking numbers Link , or volumes of Links Search , maybe some of you will be asked who are the madmen behind our graphics solutions: bright colors, Italian illustrators, paper of all kinds , hard cover and spiral binding, photographic images and explosions of Chinese food.
Well, a few days is online their site. It offers a look at their other jobs. And, above all, answers all - absolutely everyone - the curiosity "graphic" behind every Link . From square-fluo-chromium Raelian the Euler-Venn diagrams and nineteenth-century lithographs.

Let us for a ride, it's worth it.

Dancing On Beach Painting

Mono Mono - In library!

a few days and in the new issue of Library Link . It 's a Link Mono : as early as last year, a monograph that explores a complex subject, or at least tries. E 'colorful. It is called start from scratch. Television and culture of the decade .

When does the decade? As it is, this is without doubt the best time to reflect on what happened on television and media in the world of culture and society more generally, in these imaginary year Zero. And what other hand, while announced more Sometimes, we have not yet seen.

The number spread over four sections. The first, India, New mainstream, says the gradual emergence (and the entrance into society) of enzymes independent of the previous decades: now does not scare anybody, and indeed are a good source of income. Keywords: humor, viral, meme, deviance, camp, awkward, ugc, lolcat.
The second part, the abundance tube, think about how the contents have changed, and how the media are confronted with the abundance of offerings, networks, platforms. Keywords: event, panopticon, format, 9 / 11, cultist, trash, global.

And a match from the future.
The authors are renowned as usual, in many ways, from the television world to academia, from journalism to literature, from blogs to business: Henry Jenkins, John Ellis, Aldo Grasso, Carlo Freccero, Francesco Pacifico, Violetta Bellocchio, Thomas Tessarolo, Marco Vecchia, Stefano Pistolini, Zaccuri Alessandro, Maurizio Ferraris, Michele Boroni, Nico Morabito, Emilio Pucci, Carlo Momigliano, Massimo Scaglione, Matthew Bittanti, Francesco Spampinato, Fabio Cleto, Massimo Temporelli, Davide Turi, Manolo Farci, Anna Sfardini, Francesca Pasquali, Antonio Dini, Matthew Lenahan, Gregory Paolini.

As for graphics, the illustrations are by Ben Jones the collective PaperRad, remixing material made earlier with fluorescent colors, in perfect mood year Zero. It also gives the jacket a few surprises "touch" ...

What else? Nothing, if you do not: enjoy!

Ports of Ulysses Maria Luisa Fascì Spurrier

petit cahier of the new series that resumed after a short break. With a slower pace. This small plane is cahier and intangible light as the breeze of the ports and at the same time deep and full of literary references recognizable and well integrated into the narrative.

Penso che nessuno- or very few know-how Graziano Graziano Cernoia Cernoia. Or rather, he is him, but just called to say that there Uazza and know a lot 'of people saw that for years now travels the world to the sound engineer for several dozen groups. When I got the book told me that he chose the cover photo because, besides being very beautiful, has a little secret: when seen in its true dimensions it turns out the front of the entire building which belongs to that window, the 'plaster is completely pierced by bullet shots, which clearly contrasts with the beauty of the colors and the faces we see.
Here, in reading the fragments of this book that lead us around Dublin from Bosnia to Palestine, non possiamo far altro che immaginare che attorno a questi frames ci sia un sacco di vita vissuta carnalmente, con sofferenza, fino in fondo.

Un capitolo di unessential Dublin, Sabrina Campolongo is completely dedicated to a visual, physical and carnal study of the great painter. Voracious but with devout words that make every detail, every dusty corner, every hectic moment shared by the painter with his demons, his fears and talent damned, to his deep, Sabrina Campolongo is like using the language instead of the camera.

Brief reflections on a presentation

Paul Melissi

Speaking of Metro coaches in the hall of Milan's Villa Marazzi, Cesano Boscone (Milan practically), it was an opportunity for some thoughts that I'm bringing back up and where I stopped.

spoke of Cahier Travel, their "atypical", their eyes on the unusual and original places, thus explaining the idea behind the series and, therefore, also of Milan Metro. I was not sure that this idea could be implemented quickly and easily.

Su questi momenti, come dicevo sto still pondering. The temporary conclusion that the port is this: a book, Cahier above all, a "strange" book about a city is an excellent occasion: states (out of rhetoric) a bridge, an opportunity to recognize people, united by feelings feelings, fears and difficulties. If we are citizens, if we share a common area, well, the pages of a book and the voice used to tell the life of a city for a short virtuoso. Recognition. Small "healing."

I think that after, after the presentation I saw people smiling, I'd say happy, who came to greet me for the sake of it.

Review of "unessential Dublin, votive offerings are free." Sabrina Campolongo. Historica 2010 editions necklace Cahier Travel

Soteria Fornaro

incoherence everyday we live and suffer, in every situation, even in the literary, it is really an exception and set a comforting to know there is a refuge area in which our expectations will not be disappointed: the logic and coherent thought much, in fact, is the series 'Cahier travel' directed by Francesca Mazzucato, whose explicit purpose is not stated but tell of the places through the immediacy of the emotions of those experiencing them. It is, therefore, non-travel guides because the city (so far, Zurich, Milan, Dublin and 'frames' in Berlin, Palermo and Tel Aviv) in places and occasions are told that the usual tourist might miss without being afraid of having so lost a significant destination. This is not the writing of moods: the authors are astute observers of reality even in its folds, often painful social inequalities and customs, are immersed in the history of documentary and historical places with awareness. Yet even the most challenging political reflections are softened in a tissue narrativo studiato e estremamente accorto, in cui l’emozione individuale non scade mai nella banalità espressiva ma coinvolge con la sua stessa tensione, a volte straripante (come nel caso della Romanza di Zurigo), a volte invece misurata ma non per questo, anzi, proprio per questo, assai emozionante e latrice di intense empatie, come nel caso del Cahier di Sabrina Campolongo.

La misura è la cifra stilistica di questo ‘piccolo’ libro, ‘piccolo’ solo perché si tiene nei limiti di poche pagine, con una disciplina espressiva ammirevole e rara nel fare letterario contemporaneo, nel quale oceaniche correnti di parole scorrono non solo nella carta stampata, ma anche e soprattutto sul web, generando often dell'assaporare loss and aesthetic, as well as confusion about the meaning and concept of 'literature'. Sabrina Campolongo Dublin recounts some of his images, and images that proceed from a definition by negation of the city. Which is said to debut in a very lyrical, that the city is not: it is the ideal city of the author, is only one stage of his existential quest, is a love that gives confidence and to which we return, and which is still expected surges of passion, but above the improcastinabilità departure, separation, potential goodbye.

La Dublino di Sabrina Campolongo, il suo luogo dell’anima che non è affatto luogo d’elezione, a place of choice because there is indeed devoid of any nostalgia, is devoid of passion burning to consume is free from regrets and abysmal melancholy: it is balanced on a tightrope, which is that of writing thoughtful, measured, I repeat, studied in every adjective, not to be subdued without pathetic lack of pathos. A thread that requires an ability to balance is not normal, and that is always hovering over the abyss (more existential, I would say that literature).

Duffel Bags In Washing Machines

Diary from Berlin 06.09.2010

Di SOTERA FORNARO

La stanza del poeta (per Nelly Sachs)

Eccola, la stanza del poeta. Un angolo cottura e una finestra River. Four for four yards for the surviving traces of the past: letters, books, manuscripts, drawings, watercolors, a collection of stones, postcards, portraits of saints, pictures of fifty years ago. The typewriter on the coffee table, telephone, a lamp and a blanket pink, the color of the flowers in the garden in Berlin - then she was a child and there was still the daddy.

The room is in Stockholm, time: 1950.

The room is private stage of repeated nervous breakdowns, especially after the death of his mother who left even more alone. A Gift alleviation: the Zohar, the Book of Splendor, one of the most important documents in Jewish mysticism.

Connesso è l’universo in ogni smallest detail, and the word gets the 'invisible hold together and stay within the All, and it melts: and we, our' I 'is only one thing among others, disappears.

Life of Nelly Sachs was a year of death, but not to bear the 'anguish on the contrary has been the search for those "sweet dowsers, angels of peace, that we touch the secret source of fatigue passes slowly in death "(We are already working in the death of tomorrow).

The room, the "cabin" (Kajüte), the four square meters in which Nelly Sachs lives, eats and writes, then, is only one point in a web of invisible cosmic connections. The "starting point" and therefore the navel of the world. Here come all the lines of 'universe, depart from here. For the Kabbalists, the starting point of the world is a 'hidden Eden. " And Nelly Sachs is hidden, because it would disappear, he says, behind the whisper of words.

Nelly Sachs has never run away from pain, if they have nurtured. "Pain is intended to make the matter clear. That is ripe. " Thus, even Auschwitz is justified. And so much pain introjected rejects even those who were shared (Paul Celan it will land).

In May 1940, forty-nine, Nelly Sachs was able to take one of the last Air Tempelhof airport in Berlin, where she was born, pursued by the Nazi threat. The destination was Stockholm, and had lived there thirty years of exile - mainly thanks to the help of writer Selma Lagerlörf, which was dedicated in 1921 and his small prose with which he began an intense epistolary friendship. Stockholm was the construction of loneliness, punctuated by many periods in psychiatric clinic. And poetry?

At seventeen, in one of the first stay at the clinic, she met a man, fell in love not reciprocated: he did not eat for two more years. Nelly is the kind of "those who die, if they like." By chance, the doctor who la ha in cura vede e legge le sue poesie.

The absence perhaps heavier presence in his life, but also scattered light in the wires that weave in her room as a poet.

"THE BORDER IN PASS THROUGH THE BODY: THE TEAR OPEN THE MOVE" (Heiner Müller)

Soteria Fornaro

Oedipus comes from far away, yet can not walk. Oedipus - that means his name - 'one who washes the feet', its pitch is a constant grimace of pain, is a dance looking ungainly useless harmony.

In her journey for nothing regal, became king for the event. His road is paved by the assassination.

EDIPO RE – anzi, TIRANNO.

Quando si apre il sipario, nella scena essenziale, spoglia, Edipo is a body on the ground in an epileptic convulsions. With our feet on the ground, beats time, obsessively, while the shocks are the breath of his body, is the only dance that is awarded.

Dance, harmony, the limp is denied. Time is running his own time. It is about to expire.

On the city a new disease. A yellow cloud of despair, a disease: a plague on Thebes. (At an immense punching bag that moves and casts shadows, the divine one testicle, a suffocating cloud, a giant in body rot). And Oedipus RE - indeed TYRANT. Must save his city, torn by the virus. And he wants to know the causes.
Send
to ask God: why the disease yellow envelops the city? The answer is clear: 'something disturbs the order. You, the king, you must remove that is unsustainable. impurity.''

It 's a generic. Do not ask for a culprit. It does not indicate a way. To heal a city / community, sick, you purge the disturbing elements. The Oracle gives to a tyrannical political order.

E 'Oedipus, in its great presumption, to give a religious significance to the imposition of the god. To believe that there is an order of GUILT 'impurities.

Oedipus, who has already defeated the Sphinx, believed di sapere.

Oedipus believes, Priest, to understand, to explain it. It therefore wants to "enlighten the beginning" and "hunt down the truth of 'oracle': it engages the tragic action.

Oedipus is the man who claims to know, to know in fuller light, high beam, "everything from the beginning" (Vom Anbeginn will aber ichs beleuchten).

'Oedipus plays too infinitely "(Hölderlin) the sentence of the oracle, and raises the horror that the word of the oracle you murderess. The

Non ne ha ascoltato l’oracolo, he wanted to be oracle. The Queen mother and wife can no longer tolerate his body, after learning. The word assassin overwhelms all.

IT IS THERE 'S NO PLACE FOR SILENCE.

The scene is broken body, of shouting nonsensical, Oedipus stutters, stutter more. Lose the language, the word loses the murdered.

Guilt of Oedipus is not acting, but having passed the theory. Practice and theory are contrasted with each other. When you practice the theory, the terror comes into action.

The theory is the danger. The theory that goes beyond the limt, fontiera passes all knowledge. The presumption of the theory (like that of Dante Dante). Oedipus is a face of increasing pain at the scene, and those faces are the laceration, the "Stigma by those who cross borders."

Stay. Oedipus would have stayed, 'stay inside' himself. Instead

.

He taught us. It teaches us.

"Today there is an attitude towards the tragic peverso or to death. My ideal would be: 'to live without hope and without despair,' but it is not easy, we must learn to do it, and I think I can. The Greeks, the contemporary of Socrates, did not perceive any question like that, they had neither hope nor despair, they lived simply. With the ciristianesimo, the tragic attitude as an enrichment of life and the theater was lost. The tragedy is an element that gives vitality: if I see a man go to ruin, is a show that gives me strength, but today the rule, the common reaction, it is depressing to consider the destruction of a human being "(Heiner Müller).

Mi avvicino, non voglio farlo in fretta, alla minuscola porta (i quadri che uscivano di là, tra porta e scale strette, erano tutti graffiati the edges) screen from a sheet of glass. The study is there, every brush, every jar, every shred every empty bottle, hundreds of pictures, pages torn from books and magazines - doctors, many of them - and the walls completely covered with paint, palette, walls, walls, towels, all the beyond the glass. Near and yet untouchable.

I miss being able to smell. Do not move anything, I would not move even the dust, but to be inside the room, suspended, immaterial, to see how the light that falls from the window overlooking the roof is reflected in the mirror chipped. As the alcove of a brothel, he needed to look at the mirror while making love with canvas, I'm sure.

Diary from Berlin 24-5

The bars in the brain

Soteria FORNARO

This is a watercolor by Rainer Küchenmeister, a professor of painting 'Academy of Arts in Karlsruhe and Paris, died May 6 at the age of 83. Rainer Berlin was born in working-class district of Berlin, deep in the east. The father was guillotined by Hitler on August 13, 1945. The last memory of him was that Heiner was a caress, while men of the Gestapo were waiting at the door, a caress "as one that only a father does to a child," and a whisper: 'See you, kid'. The accusation was no escape: treason to the State and the Führer.

Rainer was 16 years, was also arrested on the same charge, and locked up in prison Alexander-Platz, on the fourth floor. Just above his cell, there was a girl of twenty-one years, is a potter, Bontjes Cato van Beek, who is also a 'traitor' of Hitler: he had fed the French prisoners. Cato, the bars of his cell, singing tunes that everyone rejoiced. 'The thoughts are free' - singing. Rainer sent cards hanging by a thread. They exchanged messages in code with his knuckles knocking on the heavy walls. He loved so, how to love life. Cato was beheaded August 5, 1943.

Rainer remained eighteen months in that cell to Alexanderplatz, then was taken to a concentration camp for boys in Moringen: and there, in 1945, also had to suffer the Soviet prison. In recent years, talked a lot in memory of his childhood sweetheart guillotined, his father, and of that group of resistance that the Nazis called disparagingly 'Red Orchestra', 'red' because the communists, and 'pianists' fingers because the signals sent radio to the Russians, 'spies' in the service of Moscow. Things were not so. They were brave men, even boys, they did not keep in mind se stessi per lottare senza mezzi contro il mostro, Adolf Hitler.
